What’s up guys, most of my background can be found on the LMP website back when I was an active user (I don’t use much technology now unless it’s for learning purposes or sharing what I find to be worthy insight from my ego to others via Facebook or whatever). I have been doing mahamudra w/ root lock and find that it is extremely easy for me to go into a more trance like state (with the shambhavi mudra I find this to feel like a sort of shen gong practice as well). I’ve mainly just been trying to get my body extremely flexible (my heavy committed workouts have been put on hold during this season whilst I work on other areas). So here is something I would like to share
Tech 1: I have many experiences with heating from the LDT either due to internal alchemy I learned in the past or breath retention and mental awareness. With that said, I appreciate this website. For about half a year I have been doing Tech 1 wrong. I didn’t know I was supposed to hold my breath OR root lock (“squeeze the floor”) in rapid succession. After just one try of doing it correctly, I had immediately started building up heat just like in the good old days. At some point in my days I’m going to try and dedicate at LEAST 30 min to Tech 1, (right now I’d say I do about 5-10). I have recently started following an Ayurvedic diet and am in the middle of moving to the mountains so I am wrapping any business I need to finish down here, hence I haven’t found the “optimal” time to fit the practice time block into my schedule. With that said, I do Tech 1 whenever I remember (in the car, at the grocery store, waiting in lines ect.) and still receive it’s energy boosting effects. I will say though there are times where I do it and it almost feels like it gets absorbed completely by my LDT with no real “noticalabe” sensations or changes (I remember reading somewhere that the LDT can act as a parasite so to speak and just nom nom nom the Qi up). I am eager to gain consistency in this Tech and appreciate all those who contribute and share in our community, thank you.
